Welcome to the Hananasif Orphanage Center (HOCET) website! HOCET is a local faith-based, development organization serving orphaned and vulnerable children in Tanzania.
HOCET began with one Tanzanian family that chose to dedicate themselves to giving orphaned and abandoned children the tools to change their own lives and futures. In 2002 - without money, without land, without any supportÐ they just started.
That was 7 years ago.
Today, their family of five is really a family of one hundred and two. Their home is home to twenty-two young children whom theyÕve taken in as their very own. And their non-profit organization, HOCET, is running a secondary boarding school for eighty teenagers who are working hard to build for themselves a future of hope and opportunity.
